Statice Sunburst Apricot
One of the best flowers to dry, great to use through the winter months. This statice is a light and airy flower that fills borders and beds out beautifully. This apricot toned flower has shades of cantaloupe, coral and peach and will fade out if left on the plant long enough. The best sustainable flower you can grow from seed, easily grown and great for beginners, cut when in full colour for drying.
Start seed indoors 4/6 weeks before last frost, keep warm and moist. Prick out and pot on into individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on in a light, frost-free place. Acclimatise to outside before planting and all danger of frosts have been. You can pinch back any 'leggy' seedlings when planting.
