A delicious coloured stock with coral and pale pumpkin shades running through each petal. These peachy blousy flower are such a beautiful statement to add to bouquets, and will transform them into a beautiful scented arrangement. Giving that cottage garden feel to garden beds and cutting patches.

Sow from late winter onwards, surface sow in 40 or 15 cells trays. They grow quite quickly and never pinch out the tip. When the plants are large enough to prick out, it is here you will find two distinct colours in the seedlings. Light green plants should be kept as these will be doubles, the dark greens are the singles and should be discarded if you do not want these. Always so more than you need. Acclimatise before planting out after all danger of frosts have been. Try succession sowing 2 weeks apart, that way you’ll have stocks for a lot longer.

Best to harvest flowers when they are a third to half open, can last up to 10 days in clean fresh water.
