Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the seeds sourced from?
All seeds are carefully sourced from trusted suppliers and quality checked before being sold. I only stock varieties I’m happy to grow and use myself.
Do you guarantee germination?
Seeds are living things and germination can vary depending on growing conditions such as temperature, compost, moisture and sowing depth. For this reason, germination can never be guaranteed.
What should I do if my seeds don’t germinate?
If you experience an issue with germination, please get in touch within 30 days of purchase and I’ll always do my best to help. Whether that’s advice, a replacement, or a refund where appropriate. Contact here
How should I store my seeds?
Seeds should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Correct storage helps maintain viability until you’re ready to sow.
Can I return seeds?
Due to the nature of seeds, returns are not accepted unless there is a genuine issue. Please see Delivery & Returns for full details.
When should I sow my seeds?
Sowing times vary depending on the variety and growing conditions. Please refer to the sowing information provided, and remember that seasons and weather can differ from year to year.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are packed with care and dispatched within the stated timeframe at checkout. Delivery times may vary during busy seasonal periods.
Please remember if you have purchased a candle all items will be shipped with the candle lead time, please see listing.
Posting to the UK only.
Do you offer advice on growing?
Yes. I’m always happy to share growing tips where I can. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a question about sowing or caring for your plants.
Is everything on the website grown or made by you?
The Wild Potager Co is a garden-led studio. Some flowers and plants are grown by me on the plot, while other items such as seeds and materials are carefully sourced to complement the work and seasonal offering.
