Snow Princess produces creamy white blooms in soft primrose tones, each centred with shades of golden yellow through to rich mahogany. Flowering freely over a long season, it is a productive cut flower with strong branching stems and excellent vase life.
Sow indoors from March to April, approximately 6 weeks before the last frost. Sow onto moist seed compost and lightly cover the seed, as darkness aids germination. Keep at approximately 18–23°C until germination, which usually takes 5–10 days. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out or pot on and grow on in cooler conditions. Harden off before planting outside once the risk of frost has passed.
Alternatively, sow under cover in late summer to early autumn and overwinter the young plants in a cool greenhouse or sheltered space for earlier flowers the following year.
Position: Full sun
Height: Approx. 60cm
Type: Hardy Annual
Common Name: Pot Marigold
Contents: Approximately 50 seeds
