Orach Red Plume produces tall, branching stems with beautiful ruby, rose foliage and clusters of small seed heads. A wonderful cut flower for adding height, movement and rich colour to seasonal arrangements, particularly as the garden moves towards autumn.
Sow directly outdoors from April to June, once the soil has warmed, or sow earlier under cover. Thin seedlings as they grow to allow the plants plenty of room to branch. Regular cutting encourages fresh growth and more stems.
