Appleblossom produces elegant spikes of soft white flowers flushed with blush pink, with gentle pink and apricot tones through the centres. Held on tall, strong stems, it is an excellent cut flower, flowering over a long season and bringing a lovely softness to summer bouquets and arrangements.
Sow indoors from January to March onto moist seed compost and gently press the seed into the surface. Do not cover the seed, as light helps with germination. Keep at approximately 18 to 20°C until germination, which usually takes 10 to 21 days. Alternatively, sow in September or October and overwinter the young plants under glass before planting out in spring. Harden off before planting outside once the risk of frost has passed.
Position: Full sun
Height: Approx. 90cm
Type: Half Hardy Annual
Common Name: Snapdragon
Contents: Approximately 50 seeds
