Avignon Apricot formerly Costa Apricot produces exceptionally pale peach-apricot flowers with soft cream, becoming slightly deeper in colour in warmer conditions. Held on strong, upright stems, it is an excellent cut flower, bringing a quiet, delicate colour to summer bouquets and arrangements.
Sow indoors from January to March onto moist seed compost and gently press the seed into the surface. Do not cover the seed, as light is needed for germination. Keep at approximately 18 to 20°C until germination, which usually takes 10 to 21 days. Alternatively, sow under cover in autumn and overwinter the young plants before planting out in spring. Harden off before planting outside once the risk of frost has passed.
Position: Full sun
Height: Approx. 90cm
Type: Half Hardy Annual
Common Name: Snapdragon
Contents: Approximately 50 seeds
